Early Stage Metallurgy
Metallurgical studies reveal a wealth of information about a deposit, but is usually reserved for a later stage in a program. Through this early stage testing, we can really bolster geological theories and help with confidence.
Knowing a project has favorable properties ahead of multi-year projects lets your investor base know that you take spending seriously.
Understanding the mineralogy of the deposit aids in the targeting and development of a project site.
Having a good understanding of the potential of a site helps to bolster permit applications with ‘hard evidence’.

We can take your rock samples and undertake a range of advanced studies either in-house of with one of our lab partners:
Creating descriptions of rocks from a site based on hand or chip samples.
Working with SGS Labs, we can study sections with QEMSCAN and create advanced profiles of the minerals and metals in your rock samples.
With our partners, Precision Petrographics, we can create thin sections for study under the microscope.
WE DIG FOSSILS!
It is a bit of a dying art, but we are bringing life back to it! Radiolaria, diatoms, pollen – we love it all! We are also down to deal with the big stuff too!
Radiolaria, diatoms, pollen – we can identify and interpret the microfossil content of your samples.
We can advise on how to collect and preserve samples for study, and how to curate them into a collection.
Plant, animal and trace fossils are also useful for determining a range of parameters, from age to paleoenvironment, and we can help you build that profile.
